Approximately 81,500 LBS.REPAIR & CONDITION DETAILS:Upon arrival to our yard, all covers and guards were removed and this unit was completely cleaned, serviced and inspected. Engine oil, transmission and hydraulic filters were all removed, cut open and checked for contaminates and all were clean. Both differentials and all four planataries were also clean. Following are the repairs completed by Marcel Equipment Limited at 11582 hours in September 2007:- Rear differential assembly was removed from the machine so that NEW oscillation bearings could be installed. - NEW pinion seal installed on rear differential. - While the rear axle assembly was removed we took the opportunity to install NEW engine bearings.- Installed NEW standard Caterpillar main and rod crankshaft bearings. - REBUILT engine oil pump. - Checked and adjusted exhaust and intake valves. - Checked accumulator charge.- Checked and adjusted cooling fan speed.- Resealed right steering cylinder. - Installed NEW pins and bearings on blade mount.- All steps, railings and handles are straight and in place.- Unit has been sandblasted and painted. All required repairs have been completed and this compactor is work ready. |
